Data controller

Juan José Jaramillo (Cauce), Manizales, Colombia. Contact channel for anything related to personal data: contacto@juanjojaramillo.com.

What data is collected

The site processes the data you choose to share and some technical data needed to measure its use and advertising effectiveness:

  • Contact form: name, email address and the message you write.
  • Email or WhatsApp: whatever details you choose to share when you write to us directly.
  • Usage analytics with Umami: aggregated metrics such as pages visited, approximate country, device and actions within the site. This tool is configured without tracking cookies and Cauce does not use it to identify you.
  • Google Ads measurement: if you arrive through an ad, Google may process click parameters, cookies or other technical identifiers to attribute forms and bookings to the relevant campaign.
  • Scheduling with Cal.com: if you book a call, you are asked for your name, email, company, information about the process you want to automate and the details needed to create the calendar invitation, under that provider’s terms.

What the data is used for

Cauce uses this data only to:

  • Reply to your message and follow up on the conversation you started.
  • Prepare proposals or quotes you request.
  • Understand, in aggregate, how the site is used in order to improve it.
  • Measure how many forms and bookings came from a Google Ads campaign.

Analytics, advertising measurement and cookies

Umami is used for aggregate analytics without tracking cookies. The Google Ads tag is used only to measure conversions and its advertising personalization signals are disabled. Cauce does not create remarketing audiences or use visits to this site to show personalized ads. Google may use cookies or technical identifiers to attribute a conversion to an ad click, under its own policies.

What we do not do with your data

  • We do not use contact form or booking data to send newsletters or advertising without your permission.
  • We do not use site visits to create remarketing audiences or personalize ads.
  • We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties.
  • We do not make automated decisions with legal effects about you.

Where the data is stored

Form messages reach Cauce’s inbox through Cloudflare’s infrastructure and are stored in that mailbox (Gmail). The site is served by Cloudflare. Umami processes site analytics, Google measures advertising conversions and Cal.com manages bookings. These providers may process data outside Colombia under their own security and privacy policies.

Your rights as data subject

Under Law 1581 of 2012, you have the right to:

  • Access, update and correct your personal data.
  • Request proof of the authorization you granted.
  • Be informed about how your data has been used.
  • Revoke your authorization and request the deletion of your data.
  • File complaints with Colombia’s Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC).

How to exercise your rights

Write to contacto@juanjojaramillo.com with your request. We answer inquiries within 10 business days and claims within 15 business days, as required by law.
